Nestled in a quiet neighborhood under the shadow of the mountain Celaque (the highest point in Honduras), it’s a prime location for a school. Groups of North American teachers have joined the school over the years, making Minerva a unique, bi-cultural learning environment.
Minerva currently has students ranging from Preschool to 11th grade (typically, Honduran high schools end in 11th grade). In June 2012, Minerva watched their first class of seniors graduate; most of them now attend universities in Honduras and study a range of fields including politics, agriculture, and microbiology.
We are so thankful that the Minerva Bilingual School has been a great fit for our students, and we look forward to watching Minerva grow in the years to come. For more information, visit the school's website.
